United Spirits Forum 2: The Southern Direction, a Two-Eyed Seeing Event dedicated to advancing maternal health equity for Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color (BIWOC).

Dear Clinicians, Social Service, and Behavioral Health Providers,

You are invited to the United Spirits Forum 2: The Southern Direction, a Two-Eyed Seeing Event dedicated to advancing maternal health equity for Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color (BIWOC). This in-person event will occur on August 5th, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Note there is a time change from 8–5 pm to 9-5:30 pm) at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

  • Location: UA College of Medicine-Phoenix, Health Sciences Education Building (HSEB), Room C206

  • Address: 435 N. 5th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004

Parking and Transportation:

  • Venue: UA College of Medicine-Phoenix at the Phoenix Bioscience Core

  • Parking: The closest covered parking is the PBC garage off Fillmore. Costs range from $12 to $16.

  • Disabled Parking: Available just south of the Health Sciences Education Building.

  • Public Transport: Light rail stop at Central and Van Buren, about a half-mile walk.

  • Carpooling: Encouraged to ease parking challenges.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs):

  1. Request Transcript: Email uace-info@arizona.edu after the seminar.

  2. Set Up Account: Create a student account within our UA non-credit registration system and pay a $25 fee.

  3. Receive Transcript: A link to download your digital CEU transcript will be provided upon workshop completion confirmation.
